Position Overview:
AIMS is seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our business operations, enhancing our recruitment processes, and driving business development initiatives. The Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and maintaining high standards of service in the healthcare staffing industry, particularly with a focus on federal government contracting and working with the Department of Defense (DoD).
 

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Operational Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and compliance.
  • Recruitment Oversight: Work closely with the recruitment team to monitor and improve fill rates on current projects. Ensure that recruitment strategies align with the company’s goals and client requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and client acquisition.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. Manage project resources and address any issues that arise.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business operations. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations and recruitment professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Human Resources Duties: Manage HR-related functions including employee onboarding, training, and development. Oversee performance management processes, handle employee relations issues, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Supervision: Provide direct supervision to team members, ensuring clear communication of job expectations, performance monitoring, and professional development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support employee growth and retention.
  • Experience with DoD: Apply knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) processes and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize opportunities within federal government contracting. Maintain relationships with DoD officials and stay updated on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor project managers and coordinators, providing them with the tools, guidance, and support they need to successfully manage projects and achieve their professional goals.

Qualifications:
 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in operations management, human resources, and business development, preferably within the healthcare staffing or related industry. Demonstrated experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and understanding of federal government contracting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with recruitment processes, business development strategies, operational best practices, HR management, and DoD regulations. Knowledge of federal government contracting regulations and procedures is an advantage.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

Compensation:
 
  • This is a salaried position, not an hourly pay role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
